I’ve got a new look!!

After a couple years of neglect, I’ve finally had the motivation to give this site some TLC. My site always felt it was lacking something before and I couldn’t quite put a finger on what it was. I’ve been doing a lot in the last couple of years and I’d like to be able to share that along with having a home for my online presence outside of LinkedIn.

Enter the Academic Hugo theme. I came across this theme over the weekend and was really impressed with the look and feel like it’s the missing piece that I always wanted but never knew I did. It was also really easy to convert the old site into this new theme and I didn’t even run into any hiccups at all. The new site reads more like a resume than a blog which is perfect because I seem to spend more time digging into technology than blogging so if I fail to write new posts for a while it won’t look like a totally defunct website anymore.

That said, I’ve got some plans in the works to hopefully start adding more content to this so stay tuned for more.
